The three-millionth smart gas meter has been installed in Uzbekistan

Since 2020, an important installation of gas smart meters has been launched in Uzbekistan, the main feature of which is the reduction of gas leaks. This project which will cover the entire Uzbek territory has significant importance in the digital transition process. With this important infrastructural work it is expected that the quality of the country's energy supply will be improved, also accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable management of this resource.
2.1 million smart meters have been installed in Uzbekistan by gas distribution network operator Khududgaztaminot JSC in partnership with Terranova and Pietro Fiorentini. The three-millionth gas smart meter has been installed in Uzbekistan in one of Angren's apartments.
