Our participation in the AI Festival in Milan
On February 14th and 15th, we took part in the first edition of the AI Festival; an international event dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
Our partner HPA, sponsor of the event, presented a project born from the collaboration with Terranova, whose topic is Artificial Intelligence applied to the optimisation of various activities in the smart city environment.
We took part in the AI festival, an event organised by Search on Media Group and WMF - We Make Future, which brought together over 6,000 attendees including professionals, companies, start-ups and stakeholders to discuss and explore the revolution brought about by AI not only in everyday life, but also in the political, social and work spheres.
Thanks to the speeches of important protagonists in the world of artificial intelligence, we took the opportunity to use these two days for training activities and discussions on new emerging technologies in Italy, and we returned home with interesting insights on the ideas presented and, above all, on future developments in the field of generative artificial intelligence.
In particular, five thematic areas were addressed during the two days: Content marketing, AI for business, Ethics & society, Work & education, and AI trends and insights.
With particular interest we followed the speech given by HPA, which during the first day presented the project 'AI for optimisation: transport, waste, workforce management' developed in collaboration with Terranova. The aim of the project is to optimise the routes of waste disposal vehicles, taking into account various factors, such as distance travelled, number of operators, working hours of operators and additional activities of operators.

We are therefore also preparing to participate in the 2025 edition, which will again be organised in Milan.
